The BioWOOD FILAMENT from ROSA3D is easy to print, recommended for both professional and for beginner users. The material has a low shrinkage when printed, it can be printed in an open device.
BioWOOD is made of a biopolymer that is decomposed in the composting process.
This filament has a wide range of applications, from decorative elements, through dishes (bowls, plates, cups, cutlery) to use in the creation of musical instruments, toys and furniture.
BioWOOD prints can be mechanically processed (sanded, turned, drilled, etc.) and painted and varnished like wooden elements.

Recommended printing parameters:

• extrusion temperature: 170-210°C
• bed temperature: 30-50°C
• fan: 50-100%
• print speed: 60-80 mm/s

We recommend nozzles with at least 0.5 mm diameter due to the content of wood particles.
Filament can be printed on unheated tables. In the event of adhesion problems, we recommend the use of an adhesive agent.
